Douglas B. Clark is a sculptor and painter working in bronze, oil, and acrylic paints. He is a proud fourth generation Texan and Fort Worth native. He has always had a great love for the scenery and wildlife of the American West, which fuels his creative spirit. His choice is to work from life and his own photography and field sketches. His work is greatly influenced by his extensive travels across the Western United states and Canada.

David Dike, of David Dike Fine Art, said, “Douglas Clark’s bronze sculptures capture the character of the animals he depicts. Clark’s inspiration is animals in their natural habitat: the animals exude both a peaceful and powerful spirit. His bronzes are collected by both new and seasoned buyers.

He is represented by Insight Gallery in Fredericksburg, Texas, David Dike Fine Art in Dallas, Texas, The Acosta Strong Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and The Beretta Galleries in Highland Park, Texas and New York, New York.

His work has been featured in magazines such as Western Art Collector, American Art Collector, Southwest Art, and Indulge Magazine. He has performed sculpture demonstrations and artist talks at museums and universities across the west including the Sid Richardson Museum, The Fort Worth Modern Art Museum, the National Ranching Heritage Center and Texas Christian University. His sculptures and paintings are in Corporate, public, university, and private collections.
